At times like this, safety is more important than ever. From social distancing to preventing cross-contamination, you’ve done everything possible to keep you and your family healthy. And at Coal Creek Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center, we’re taking added steps to ensure that we keep our patients and staff safe from COVID-19/Coronavirus.

A Different Place to “Wait”
Instead of having you arrive and wait in our reception area, we ask that you check-in from your car. This can be done digitally or by calling our front desk. Reducing the number of people in the front office space helps to maintain social distancing guidelines and unnecessary interaction with other parties. As soon as we’re ready for you, one of our staff will escort you from your car directly into one of our patient care rooms.
Our schedule has been adjusted to allow for time and disinfection between patients. As such, it’s important that you arrive on time for your planned procedure. If you are running more than 5-10 minutes late, we will need to reschedule your appointment.
Each of our clinical staff is wearing enhanced filtration N95 masks, instead of medical-grade surgical masks for aerosol producing procedures. This prevents inhalation or transmission of any aerosol particles during surgical procedures.
Additionally, non-clinical staff such as our patient care coordinators and receptionists will also be in masks. We ask that you (and your guest if you’re planning a sedation procedure) also wear a mask or face covering while checking in and out.
When you arrive, we may take your temperature before your appointment. If you have a fever or any flu-like symptoms, we ask that you stay home, cancel your appointment and self-quarantine for at least 14 days before rescheduling.
