Lafayette Oral Surgery Staff Highlight: Olivia
Posted By: admin
Olivia is one of the newest members of our Lafayette, CO dental team. She’s been with us for just over 8 months and serves as our billing coordinator. If you ever need treatment, want to talk about financing options, or have questions about what your insurance covers, she’s the one with the answers!
Originally from California, Olivia and her husband relocated to Colorado about 10 years ago due to her husband’s job with the railroad. But she’s been in dentistry for over 20 years! After working as a clinical assistant and dental receptionist for quite some time, she briefly quit working when she had children. When she saw an opening at our practice, she took it as the perfect opportunity to get back into the career she knew and loved.
In Her Free Time
Outside of work, Olivia and her husband have two daughters that love to read and ride their bikes. Their family enjoys hiking as often as possible. In fact, she has a bucket list of climbing as many 14ers as possible (especially Long Peak.) She’s also an avid designer and decorator who is addicted to updating her home and helping her friends update the look of their own houses.
What She Likes About Our Office
When you ask her what her favorite thing is about working here, she’ll tell you it’s the personal one-on-one time she gets to have with our patients. Making personal connections and meeting new people is something she truly enjoys. But she also finds great fulfillment in helping people understand the ins-and-outs of confusing insurance benefits (to each his own, right?)
One of the things Olivia says she finds different about working at Coal Creek Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center is Dr. Hayes’ down-to-earth attitude and respect for his staff. She says that not only is he great at listening to his patients, he’s also open and inviting for staff to talk to about any concerns.
